We moved to Denton back in November 2022, a move up from London that involved taking our (then) two year old out of nursery: thankfully, while we were obviously worried at first, she was lucky enough to end up at Ben Rhydding Pre-School and none of us has looked back. A genuinely lovely, supportive and warm place, not only has she learned an incredible amount (she now has better handwriting than I do), and made a ton of brilliant friends, that mean life in London is rarely thought of, she’s also received incredible support throughout, both initially with the move, and more recently, with the loss of a grandparent: all of the teachers have gone above and beyond to help her process and manage her emotions. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more, at any point: Ben Rhydding Pre-School is a very special place, run by a bunch of incredibly dedicated, incredibly caring people, and it will be tough for us to say goodbye at the end of this term, as she crosses the road to big school.
