The toy sale raised a fantastic £365.04; photos £133.66; Fell promotions £24.25, Christmas Raffle £61.30, Sutton/Yellow moon £85.00. This money is not used as part of the day to day running of playgroup. So far the larger purchases made with it have included a new kitchen and bunk beds for the home corner, doll’s house furniture and an arm-powered car. Further new equipment will be purchased soon.

For those who contributed Tesco Sport vouchers, these have been used to buy balancing blocks, a large ball with bells and ribbon tail balls.

Dates for the diary

Following on from last years successful event, we are hoping to hold another pamper evening on Thursday 13th March 8 till 10.  We are trying to enlist some therapists to participate, so if you know anyone who might offer their services, please let Sandy 430395 or Bella 604442 know.

Cleaning evening

Just a reminder that the next cleaning evening will be 25th February, so please check the rota to check if it is your turn. Last time only 2 parents arrived. 

Catalogues

For School Link Book Club make cheques for orders payable to the Book People Ltd or by credit card on the order form. Please return orders to Playgroup by Friday 25th February.

As mentioned in the last newsletter, Playgroup has its own website. There is now a facility to translate the content into another language, so if any parents would like to feedback about this facility, then please speak to a member of staff or committee. www.brplaygroup.com

Playgroup closes for half term on Friday 8th February and re-opens on Monday 18th February. There is no lunch session on Wednesday 6th February.
