Committee Newsletter March 2008
Hello to everyone again after our very short half term. We hope everyone had a good break over the half term and enjoyed the lovely weather. This will again be quite a brief newsletter but has information about our Easter events.
Cleaning
The cleaning evening was cancelled. We have tried a number of ways to encourage people along to the cleaning evenings, so that not only did the job get done, but it didn’t fall to the same parents and staff. We are now employing cleaners jointly with the Playstation to do the work. In the future this additional expenditure may need to be reflected in the session fees.
Dates for the diary
Special General Meeting 11th March at 8pm, in the Annexe building, everyone welcome. Please refer to notice at playgroup and speak to Angie or Diane if you have any questions.
Pamper evening 13th March from 8pm at Ben Rhydding golf Club. Tickets now on sale for a lovely relaxing social event. Notices up in Playgroup. Sandy 430395 or Bela 604442
Very advanced notice of Ben Rhydding Community Fete 28 June 2008. A fun family day which is also a fundraiser for Playgroup.
Easter Events week commencing Monday 10th March
Easter Egg Tombola will be running every day at the start of playgroup except Friday afternoon. Buy a ticket for £1 and win an Easter Egg. All profits to Playgroup funds.
Easter Hat Making Workshops for the first half hour of every session except Friday afternoon. All materials provided.
Easter singalong for the younger groups on Friday 14th March. Doors open 11.10for parents, friends and all children in younger groups.
Easter Parade for pre-school children on Friday 14th March. Doors open 14.30 for parents, friends and all pre-school group children.

Playgroup closes for half term on Wednesday 19th March and re-opens on Monday 7th April. There is no lunch session on Wednesday 19th March.
