This ensures individual attention to the needs and development of each

Up
to 2 parents/carers per session "stay & play" as well as at
least 3
members of staff, providing a minimum ratio of 1 adult to 5 children.
Staff
wear red, students wear green tabards and stay & play helpers
are
offered blue tabards, to protect clothing and identify them to the
children. Staff undertaking administrative duties (and supernumerary)
wear navy blue.
Students on placement
at Playgroup will be there as part of ongoing childcare/early years
study and includes mature students and students from Ilkley Grammar
School. We also have volunteers from time to time. Volunteers are CRB checked.
Students are not counted in
the adult:child ratios.
