Opening Times - ‘Pre-school’ and ‘2 Day’ Groups
Our ‘Pre-school Group’ is designed for those children who will be going to school at the start of the next academic year. Children become eligible to receive the Nursery Education Fund in the full term after their third birthday. This entitles them to a maximum of 5 free 2 1/2 hour sessions per week of Pre-school care. This can be split between other registered Pre-school providers.
Due to the current demand for places in the ‘Pre-school Group’ children moving in to the ‘Pre-school Group’ are requested to attend or pay for a minimum of three sessions. Parents not wishing take all five sessions as soon as their child becomes eligible for the N.E.F. but who would like to reserve the remaining sessions for a future term will be asked to pay for the sessions not immediately required.
The sessions available are:
Monday - Wednesday morning 9.00 am - 11.30 am with an option for lunch until 12.15pm (additional charge) and Thursday & Friday afternoons 12.35pm - 3.05 pm.
Children in the ‘2 Day Group’ who become eligible for Nursery Education Funding but would not be starting school until a year in September, may also be able to join this group if spaces are available. If the group is full they will automatically be able to claim their 5 sessions at the start of the next academic year.
Our ‘2 Day Group’ runs Monday and Tuesday afternoons and Thursday and Friday mornings
12.35pm-3.05pm and 9.00am to 11.30am - ages 2½ to 3½
Parents/guardians are required to pay for a minimum of 2 sessions in this group.
