Behaviour Management
If a child behaves in an unacceptable way staff will use positive methods to try and attain reasonable levels of behaviour through:
- Praise and encouragement of good behaviour.
- Anticipation and removal of potential problems.
- Redirection.
If unacceptable behaviour from a child is a continuing problem, Playgroup staff will work together with the child’s parents/carers to find a solution that is acceptable to both parties. (A copy of our full Behaviour Management Policy is attached as an appendix)
